How to sell your car
You are looking to sell your car and not sure how to go about it, here is a handy guide for you! There are a few different ways you can sell your car but it needn’t be confusing. Have a read and let us know if you have any questions.
Selling privately
The first option is to sell privately. You can sometimes get more money this way, but you need to work out if that offsets the time you have spent selling it. You will be in charge of marketing, advertising, dealing with enquiries and potential time wasters too.
Selling to a car buying site
Using a car buying site is an option but they often drive the prices right down and are very vigilant in the appraisal of the car, knocking chunks of money off for dents, scrapes and alloy damage.
Selling at auction
You can sell your car at auction, but keep in mind that you could be bringing it back with you if it doesn’t sell! Also keep in mind that a lot of tradespeople will be here, so it may fetch a lower price than you were hoping for.
Selling to a car dealer
Selling to a car dealer, like us, is an option too! We offer competitive rates on all cars and will take into consideration different things as well. We consider all makes and models and can offer a free valuation so you can decide whether or not you would like to sell.
Part exchanging
You can also look at part exchanging with us too, if you are in the market for a new used car. We have plenty of stock available and we could take care of it in one transaction for you.
We hope that helps! If you are looking to sell your car in London, come and speak to the team at LMC where we will be happy to give you a free valuation and help you any way we can.
